Terms

By playing footballerz you accept these terms. We have kept them short so that they are actually read.

What this is

A free online football game in early access. In practice this means that things break, matches can be interrupted by updates, and features are added and are sometimes removed again.

Your account

You sign in with Discord or Google. You are responsible for making sure that account is yours, and for what happens under it.

One person, one account. You may not use a second account to get around a ban, to inflate somebody's rating, or to sit in a match doing nothing.

Your nickname is public. It may not impersonate somebody else, may not be a slur, and may not advertise anything. We can change or remove a name that breaks these rules.

How to behave

The rules are the ones you would expect. They are enforced by people who read the reports:

• No cheating: no modified client, no scripts, no automation. Only you, playing.
• No abusing people. Insults, slurs, threats and harassment are the quickest way to get removed.
• No ruining matches on purpose, such as own goals, standing still or sabotaging your own side.
• No spamming the chat, and no advertising.
• Do not attack the service: no attempts to break into it, overload it, or scrape it wholesale.

What happens if you break them: a mute stops you from chatting, and a ban locks you out. Both are given with a reason and both are recorded. If you think one was wrong, write to the contact address on the Privacy page. A person will review it, and punishments can be lifted.

Fair play, and what money can never buy

This rule applies to us, not to you, and we will not compromise on it:

Nothing that affects gameplay can be bought, and nothing can be unlocked by playing longer. Two players stepping onto the pitch always have identical mechanical tools. Every build and every option that touches the game is free to everybody, from the first minute.

Money can only buy cosmetics, convenience and status: how you look, how many saved sets you can keep, how long your friends list can be. If a Supporter subscription ever gives an advantage on the pitch, that is a bug and it will be removed.

What you make

Your nickname, your team's name, its crest and kits, and anything you type remain yours. By putting them in the game, you allow us to store them and show them to other players. Nothing more.

Do not upload or type things you have no right to: somebody else's logo, somebody else's name, anything illegal.

What we owe you, and what we do not

The game is provided as it is. There is no uptime promise, results can be lost when something breaks, and progress can be reset while the game is in early access. We will say so when that happens.

We are liable for what the law says we are liable for and no more. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer under Polish or EU law.

Ending it

You can stop at any time, and you can erase your account yourself from Settings. The Privacy page describes exactly what that deletes and what is kept.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close the service altogether we will say so in advance, on the site.

Legal details

These terms are governed by Polish law. If something here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Changes are made by editing this page, and its history is public in the project's git repository. If a change matters, it will be in the news. Carrying on playing after a change means accepting it.

If you have any questions, write to the contact address on the Privacy page.
